Class Activities and Assignments :

 

Monday, February 29, 2016:  Students nearly completed their reading of Act IV.  As homework, students are to finish reading the act and continue work on the Act IV graphic organizer.

 

Tuesday, March 1, 2016:  Students finished reading Hamlet, Act IV. Students completed all work on their Act IV graphic organizers and began viewing the film adaptation of Act IV.  As homework, students should review all of Act IV as preparation for the quotes quiz.

 

Wednesday, March 2, 2016:  Students finished viewing Hamlet, Act IV and then completed the Act IV quotes quizzes.  All classes began reading Hamlet, Act V, scene i.  As homework, students should review what they have read so far of Act V.

 

Thursday, March 3, 2016:  Students finished reading the final act of Hamlet.  Students completed their Act V graphic organizers and were instructed to review the fifth act as preparation for tomorrow's reading quiz.

 

Friday, March 4, 2016:  Students viewed the fifth act of Hamlet and took their final quotes quiz over the play.  As homework, students are to begin formulating thematic statements about the play as preparation for the timed writing Tuesday.  Students should also review the entire play in preparation for both the essay and objective portions of the Hamlet test that will be given next Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

Monday, March 7, 2016:  Students entered class and picked up theme and comprehension review materials. Students were allowed to work in groups to develop theme statements.  As homework, students are to review the play and theme statements in preparation for the objective and essay test portions over Hamlet.
