Class Activities and Assignments :

 

Tuesday, February 16, 2016: Students turned in their Hamlet Act I graphic organizer work and then viewed most of Act I in class.  As homework, students should review Act I in preparation for the quiz tomorrow.

 

Wednesday, February 17, 2016:  Students finished viewing Act I of Hamlet and then completed a quiz over the act. Students received a copy of the Act II graphic organizer, completed a pre-reading task, and began reading Act II.  As homework, students are to review today's reading and begin work on the Act II graphic organizer.

 

Thursday, February 18, 2016:  Students read the remainder (or most of the remainder) of Act II of Hamlet.  As homework, students should continue work on the graphic organizer and review the portion of Act II that has been read in class as preparation for the quotes quiz.

 

Friday, February 19, 2016:  Students completed their Act II reading, began viewing Act II, and completed their Act II graphic organizers, which the teacher checked in class.  Students reviewed their performance on the essay and objective portions of the Frankenstein test.  Students are to review Act II in preparation for the quiz over that act, which will be given in class on Monday.

 

Monday, February 22, 2016:  Students entered class and picked up Hamlet, Act III graphic organizers.  There was a quick review of Act II, and then all classes completed their viewing of Act II, then took Act II quizzes.  All classes began reading scene i of Act III.  As homework, students need to review Act III reading thus far.

 

Tuesday, February 23, 2016:  Students read through scene ii of Act III. Some classes began the third scene of the act.  As homework, students are to review what they have read so far in Act III of Hamlet and continue work on the Act III graphic organizer.

 

Wednesday, February 24, 2016:  Students finished reading Act III of Hamlet in class and most classes discussed the graphic organizer.  As homework, students should review the act as preparation for the quotes quiz that will be given at the start of class Friday, and complete all graphic organizer work.

 

Thursday, February 25, 2016:  Students in all classes completed their reading of Act III of Hamlet and used remaining class time to complete graphic organizer work and begin viewing Act III.  As homework, students should review all of Act III as preparation for tomorrow's quiz.
