Class Activities and Assignments for AP English Lit. & Comp. (all periods):

 

Monday, March 16, 2015:  Students took notes over the way to format and draft their synthesis paper introductions.  Students then reviewed minor works with the teacher for consideration with the synthesis paper.  In classes where time allowed, a discussion of the conventions of Shakespearean comedy followed.  As homework, students are to complete their Statements of Responsibility for the synthesis paper.

 

Tuesday, March 17, 2015:  Students turned in their Statements of Responsibility, which the teacher checked.  Students also took introductory notes about Renaissance comedy conventions, and began viewing Much Ado About Nothing, with copies of the play available for further reference.  As homework, students are to begin completion of their synthesis paper introduction rough drafts.

 

Wednesday, March 18, 2015:  Students received final advice about their first portion of synthesis paper rough draft that will be due at the start of class tomorrow.  Classes then resumed their study and viewing of Shakespearean comedy by way of Much Ado About Nothing.  As homework, students are to complete their rough drafts of their synthesis paper introductions.

 

Thursday, March 19, 2015:  Students turned in their synthesis paper introduction rough drafts, and resumed their study of Shakespearean comedy via viewing Much Ado About Nothing.
