Current Class Activities & Assignments for APE Lit. (Periods 1, 3, 4, 6, & 7):

 

Monday, APril 21, 2014:  Students took notes over conclusion composition for their synthesis papers.  Students are to complete their independent study reading and the next round of rough draft paragraphs as homework.

 

Tuesday, APril 22, 2014:  Students in periods 1, 3, and 7 completed multiple-choice practice after turning in their first minor work rough draft paragraphs.  Students in period 4 completed their timed writings over their independent study novels.  Students in period 6 attended the pre-AP exam administrative session in the gymnasium.  All students are to work on completion of the major work data sheet for their novels and continue drafting paragraphs for the synthesis paper.

 

Wednesday, APril 23, 2014:  Students in all classes except 4th period completed their timed writings over their independent study novels.  Students are to work on completion of the next round of minor work rough draft paragraphs and their independent study novel major work data sheet (due next Tuesday).

 

Thursday, APril 24, 2014:  Students turned in their second minor work rough draft paragraphs; students in periods 1, 3, and 7 had time in class to draft their conclusion paragraphs and complete information on their major work data sheets.  Students in periods 4 and 6 completed the multiple-choice practice the other classes completed on Tuesday.  All students are to have their rough draft conclusion paragraphs ready at the start of class tomorrow.

 

Friday, APril 25, 2014:  Students turned in their conclusion rough drafts and completed two more rounds of multiple-choice practice.  Students are to complete their major work data sheets for their independent study novels.  The sheets will be due at the start of class Tuesday, along with any checked-out copies of novels.

 

Monday, APril 28, 2014:  Students received senior awards forms to fill out during bell work, then turned their attention to the teacher and advice for formatting their synthesis paper final copies.  Students are to work on revising and typing their synthesis papers (due Friday), and complete the major work data sheet for their independent study novels, which are due tomorrow.

 

Tuesday, APril 29, 2014:  Students voted on Who's Who and completed multiple-choice practice, after turning in their major work data sheets and copies of their independent study novels.  As homework, students should be revising and preparing their final copies of their synthesis papers (due at the start of class Friday, May 2, 2014).

 

Wednesday, APril 30, 2014:  Students reviewed multiple-choice practice answers and continued turning synthesis papers in early.  Students are to complete preparation of final copies of their synthesis papers (due at the start of class Friday, May 2, 2014).

 

Thursday, May 1, 2014:  Periods 1, 3, & 4 completed the second part of multiple-choice practice and reviewed answers.  Students are to complete preparation of final copies of their synthesis papers (due at the start of class Friday, may 2, 2014).

 

Friday, May 2, 2014:  Students turned in synthesis papers and books.  Students reviewed multiple-choice answer and received copies of the Awesome Packet.  Students are to review Awesome Packet contents over the weekend.
