Current Class Activities & Assignments for APE Lit. (Periods 1, 3, 4, 6, & 7):


Tuesday, March 4, 2014:  Students turned in sonnet work and viewed Act III of Hamlet as a review.  As homework, students are to review the third act in preparation for the quiz that will be given at the start of class tomorrow.


Wednesday, March 5, 2014:  Students completed Act III viewing, took their quizzes over Act III, and received instructions for the independent study project.


Thursday, March 6, 2014:  Students read through the first six scenes of Act IV.  Students are to select a play for their independent study and review Act IV before class tomorrow.


Friday, March 7, 2014:  Students viewed Act IV and took an Act IV quiz.  Students turned in their independent study selection and are to begin reading their plays this weekend as homework.


Monday, March 10, 2014:  Students reviewed their answers from the long multiple-choice practice extravaganza from 2/28/2014.  Students worked in pairs to attempt reaching consensus on the correct answer and in looking at the question with a partner, also tried to determine what kind of question each item was.


Tuesday, March 11, 2014:  Students began reading Act V of Hamlet.  As homework, students are to continue reading their independent study works, and begin reviewing Hamlet in its entirety.


Wednesday, March 12, 2014:  Students concluded their reading of Act V of Hamlet.  As homework, students are to review the act in preparation for a quiz, and continue reading their independent study selection.


Thursday, March 13, 2014:  Students viewed Hamlet,  Act V, took a quiz over Act V, and the teacher provided information about and advice on preparing for a test over the entire play.


Friday, March 14, 2014:  Students completed their objective tests over Hamlet, and the teacher directed students in their preparation for the essay test over Hamlet that will take place Monday.
